Q This Wednesday's assigned chapter (chapter 11) discusses division of labor in the home. How do you see yourself (ideally) dividing household chores with a partner or roommate? Alternatively, would you prefer the self-reliance strategy or to outsource your household labor?

For me, one of the most controversial topics about equality is in our homes, and when we talk about chores, in a lot of our houses, we were taught that women are supposed to take care of everything (cleaning, cooking, kids) while men "rest" from a hard workday. But nowadays, men and women work, and for me, it is unfair that women have to take care of everything while men relax from work while women also have to be working the entire day. In my case, my mom has always been a "stay home mom in my house." so I grew up where I see my mom always did all the chores in the house.
